Given the success of the past congress ESSO 36 (Krakow, Poland) and this year's ESSO 37 (Amsterdam, the Netherlands), we are delighted to announce that the next congress for all surgical oncologists will take place in Budapest, Hungary, on 10-12 October 2018. Organised in collaboration with the Hungarian Surgical Society (HSS), ESSO 38 will illustrate in detail the latest practice-changing discoveries in oncology, surgery and the latest multi-modal therapies.

The ESSO Office has been busy in the past months to prepare the catalogue of 2018 educational activities for our members, while the courses and other activities were carried out as planned, receiving a very good result in terms of attendance and participants’ satisfaction. For instance, we recently held the written exam of the EBSQ examination in Breast Cancer Surgery, which took place in 3 different European cities (Athens, Budapest and London), and we are already preparing the next sessions for this exam....
