A Note from the Dean
On Sunday, January 8, colleagues and friends gathered at the Twelfth Night Party held in White Plains at Robert Chase's home. There was good food and good conversation took place. There was even some sharing and exchanging of music. Our board spent some time as well in conversation over next year's offerings, as it is our hope to have the schedule published over the summer. Along these lines, the board would like for you to take a short survey found at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/FMVB6QH. Your thoughts and ideas in regard to what is offered will help guide us in our planning. For those of you receiving this by snail mail, feel free to complete the enclosed survey and send it to the address indicated.
Our next event takes place on Sunday, February 19 with Dr. Robert Chase sharing and talking about his newly published book - Gradus Ad Parnasum, A Guide to the Literature of Organ Instruction. Along with this, you will hear examples played. Light refreshments will be available at the conclusion, during which time we can converse with each other. I wish to mention March's masterclass with David Enlow as well as there will be a limited opportunity for individuals to play. If you are interested, please reply to me at the address listed below in the Chapter Events listing. This will be an exciting event to be a part of, so you won't want to miss it!

The Diet
OK, I know I will have to lose some weight.
I may have to eat some foods I hate.
Don't know how this happened so fast.
I could eat anything in the past.
Maybe I could cut down and just eat half...
Yeah, right; that's a real big laugh.
I'll be practical and cut out a third.
No sense eating just like a bird.
Some clothing had really gotten tighter.
They'll all fit if I can get lighter.
Oh, the hell with it all -
Dessert is giving me a call!
