Books Are Published and I Need Your Help!

Dear <<First Name>>,

It has been a long time in the making but I finally just bit the dust and did it. I have published my first books, Journey of a Codependent: Discovering the Beauty of Who I Am, and, My Journey to Loving Me, A Journal for Codependents. My hope is that by telling my story and sharing some of my daily challenges and triumphs, others struggling with codependency will be encouraged and have peace and hope on their journey to healing.

If you know someone who is struggling with codependency, boundaries, people-pleasing and/or enabling, please encourage them to read my story. I have struggled in ALL these areas but have learned so much and am no longer in bondage to them. I hope your friends or loved-ones will gather strength from my stories and learn to live FREE from the bondage on their journey!

Blessings,
Terri

Today I will:

Sometimes is only takes just a few minutes to take care of yourself. What are some ways you can take care of yourself today?

Do you have some recovery under your belt?

“The tree has reached maturity and overcome the darkness. It must now plant seeds for the future.”

I am looking for a few Codependents who have some recovery to participate in a new interview series for the Diary of a Recovering Codependent.

If you would be interested in sharing your story of and personal experiences of codependency and inspire others, please contact me.

Little Things You Can Do for Yourself Today

Say no to extra obligations, chores, or anything that pulls on your precious self-care time.

Spend five minutes soaking up the sunshine on your back.

Listen to an old favorite song that hasn’t been in your music rotation for months, maybe years.

Grab a coffee to go and sit on the grass in the nearest park.

Take a long, hot bath. Light a candle and pamper yourself.

Write it out. Go free-form in a journal or on a computer. Get it all out and vent
