May Roundtable
Reading Remediation

We are very excited to have the two reading specialists, Toni Bain and Rebecca Bush to facilitate our May Roundtable on reading remediation.

Discussion points/themes:

  • What is reading remediation; why is it necessary?
  • How does it differ from reading support offered in the classroom?
  • When is reading remediation necessary?
  • What is the best age for reading remediation?
  • What programs are out there and how do they differ?
  • What is an appropriate program (e.g. teacher background, hours of training, method or approach)?

Please join us for an evening filled with exceptional advice, shared tips, and useful strategies.  We welcome you to share your experiences and learn from others on the journey to support and encourage your child with ADHD and/or SpLDs, such as Dyslexia.

This will be a highly interactive session appropriate for parents of school aged children and adolescents.  Educators are welcome
