Catalog Has New Look

Over the summer, library staff worked diligently to implement a new library system, much of which is behind the scenes except for the new catalog interface. From the library homepage (, the Books & Media tab will take you to a cleaner, more user-friendly catalog search. We are still in the process of ensuring that our records are accurate and up-to-date, so don’t hesitate to contact us if you can’t find a title that you think we should have or are having any difficulty using the system. We will have a full launch “party” for the new catalog and enhancements to our website that are coming in October.
New FAQ Page
The RVCC Library has made answering your questions even easier through our new FAQ page!  Get answers to common questions.  Have a question that isn't on our FAQ?  Contact us with your question and one of our librarians will be sure to add it to the list.
Teach Online?
You can have an embedded librarian in your online class!  The embedded librarian is specifically for online (or hybrid) courses. Many of the students enrolled in online classes are limited by geography and time and rarely find themselves on campus. In order to benefit from library services, the embedded librarian program was created in order to reach these students and provide an equivalent level of information literacy instruction as their on campus counterparts.  Click here for more information on our Embedded Librarian Services.
Website Gets Update
Due to the findings of Librarian Alyssa Valenti's website usability study, we have decided to make some changes to the library website.  Expect to see an updated page with aesthetic and user-driven changes.  Launch TBA.
