R.I.P. Stan Lee
Stan Lee, the cherished maker of Marvel Superheroes, passed away on November 12, 2018.  Even if you don't consider yourself a comic book fan, his creations have appeared in more than a score of movies.  He made cameos in many of them.  The world of Stan Lee was a gateway to imagination and literacy for many of us and his passion will be sorely missed.

Fortunately, his heroes live on in pages and on the screen, most of which can be found here at the Evelyn S. Field Library.  Click on any of the movies below to put a copy on hold and celebrate his legacy.

Primary Sources

Primary sources are original sources of information.  Sometimes reading or looking at someone's interpretation is not good enough and you need to go back to the start, especially when it comes to history.  Our new Systems and Technical Services Librarian, Janelle Bitter, has created a series of primary source guides on different periods in history.  Please share these resources with your students.
