A state-of-the-art rock climbing structure that offers top rope and auto-belay routes. Join a climbing class or visit during staffed climbing hours and let us take you to new heights. Check out this video of amazing kids!

The center features a Cardio & Strength Balcony, an Indoor Track, a Fitness Studio, and an Indoor Cycling Studio. Come enjoy excellent fitness opportunities including Pre/Postnatal Pilates beginning June 6th, Yoga in Spanish beginning June 1st, Zumba in Two Rivers Park beginning June 7th, and Wulfsohn Hikes beginning June 1st. Trust our Explorer team to care for your little one while you work out! Your kids will look forward to a new theme each week to enjoy learning, crafts, sensory table, and movement & music.
Little Rec programs are for ages 1 to 7 years old. Junior Rec programs are for school aged children 5 to 11 years. Programs include Indoor Playground, Little Bakers, Junior Rec Club, and more.
Older Adults will find social, wellness, fitness and road trip opportunities. Board games, Bingo and Bridge are favorites. Expert fitness instructors are prepared to meet your fitness needs.
Whether you are hosting a meeting, wedding, birthday party, holiday celebration, or other special occasion, our team is ready to help you plan any event.

New Glenwood Springs Special Olympics Teams
The City of Glenwood Springs Therapeutic Recreation Department is seeking athletes, volunteers, and coaches to join our new Special Olympic teams starting June 20th. This summer we will be offering Softball, Bocce, and Tennis. All ages and abilities are encouraged to join! Want to join the team? Contact Kaleb Cook at kaleb.cook@cogs.us.
Sand Volleyball
Itching to feel the sand between your toes? This recreational league will feature 4v4 and 2v2 teams. Games will be played at both Veltus and Sayre (as needed) Parks. Coed 4v4 and Men’s and Women’s 2v2 will be offered on Wednesday nights in July and August.
Youth Baseball / Softball
The Roaring Fork Valley Baseball/Softball League is for players ages 7-12. Glenwood Springs teams will compete against other towns throughout the Valley. These eight-week (approximate) programs are designed to teach fundamental skills, sportsmanship, and team unity. The goal of these programs is to provide each participant the opportunity to enjoy the game of baseball or softball by learning, playing, and having fun.
Little Demon T-Ball
Little Demon T-Ball is an introductory league for participants 5 & 6 years of age. The program is an opportunity for participants to learn the fundamentals & rules of baseball in a fun, engaging experience.
Adult Kickball
Looking to relive your youth? This schoolyard game will be played at on the softball/baseball field at Two Rivers and Sayre (as needed) Parks. This coed league will be played using modified World Kickball Association Rules. The league will play on Wednesday nights beginning in August.
Adult Softball
Our second season of Coed and Men’s softball will begin in August and run through mid-October. We will offer recreational and competitive leagues for Coed and a Men’s league. Each league will play 10 games.
Youth/Adult Tennis Lessons
Improve your game with help from the Valley’s finest USTA Certified Tennis Coaches. Sessions available for all ages and abilities. Summer Session 1 will begin June 6. Can’t join us for Session 1 or looking to continue to grow your game, summer Session 2 will start July 11.

Parks
Summer is in full swing and our City of Glenwood Springs Parks are too. If you are interested in renting a Park Pavilion or hosting, here is info about rentals and permits.
Downtown
Our green thumbs have been hard at work in all the garden beds around town, and we have have dozens of new planters brightening up our city. June is the kickoff for all sorts of summer events under the bridge and in our surrounding parks—so don’t forget to check our community calendar!
Trails & Open Space
REI 3 Mile Clean Up/Fire Mitigation work.
REI, our community partner, performed critical fire mitigation and trash clean up along 3 Mile Creek and half a ton of trash and debris were removed! RFOV and other local volunteer groups such as SGM will continue fire mitigation efforts around critical areas like Wulfsohn Mountain Park. RFMBA is sponsoring a community clean up in South Canyon, on Tuesday, May 31, 5:30pm-8:00pm. Dinner and drinks provided! Click here to sign up today.
1st Annual Glenwood Springs Pride Festival at Bethel Plaza, Friday, June 24th
Join us to celebrate Glenwood Springs First Annual Pride Month Celebration. Enjoy live music under the bridge, drag performances, and drink specials in area downtown businesses. This event is open to all ages and abilities! Friday, June 24th from 5:30-7:30, downtown crawl following.

Deveraux Trail Opening

On May 20, Glenwood Springs celebrated the opening of the new Devereux Trail, a 10’ wide multi-use path connecting Two Rivers Park and Highway 6&24. This connection is improving safety for the many bicyclists and pedestrians already using the path.

Community Open House and Topeks Better Together Mural Project Kick Off
Join us on Saturday June 4th from 2:00 – 6:00 pm for the Community Art Center Open House and a “Better Together” Mural Project Kick Off featuring live music by Kyle Jones and Friends, art making activities, live demonstrations, games, a food truck and more.
Western Colorado University disAbility Film Festival
Expect to be inspired! Join us for a special evening of films highlighting the power of inclusive education. Presented in partnership with Western Colorado University’s Communication Arts/Film and Education Departments and the Glenwood Vaudeville Revue, this family friendly festival is free and open to the public. Dinner and drinks are available for purchase from 6:00 – 7:00 PM. Film Festival starts at 7 PM. Reservations required.
Accessible half day and full day art programs for children entering Kindergarten through age 14, including Teen Workshops.
