4th Annual Rocky Mountain Dialogues on Mindfulness in Higher Education

Saturday, April 14, 2018 9am-4pm

Naropa University Events Center
6287 Arapahoe Ave, Boulder, CO 80301

What does it mean to integrate mindfulness into higher education? How do we practice contemplative education and pedagogy? In the spirit of an “unconference” please join a gathering that explores key issues in this growing movement: Where do “diversity/inclusivity” and “mindfulness” work intersect? What role does science play in the growth of the mindfulness movement, and how can we participate in shaping that role? What are the potentially troubling “shadows” of mindfulness that show up in our institutions and how do we respond to them? The day includes contemplative practice, large and small group discussions and topic-specific workshops. You are invited to share your voice and inspirations and to contribute literature and information about your related projects to the RMD Resource Table.
Free lunch is provided.
