Guide for Reducing Energy Consumption

One of our Climate Witness Project regional organizers, Henry Brouwer, has developed a guide to help churches reduce their impact on creation by lowering energy consumed. The guide includes ideas for reducing facility/operating expenses and tips for implementation.

Download the guide here, and feel free to contact us if you have any questions! More energy stewardship and resources on climate change are available at

New CWP Facebook Page

We’re excited to announce that the Climate Witness Project now has its own Facebook page! On this page we’ll be posting resources, articles, news, and success stories from the Climate Witness Project. Mark Your Calendars!

The People’s Climate March is happening on April 29 in Washington, D.C. We’ll be there, and we hope you can join us! The Climate Witness Project, along with Young Evangelicals for Climate Action, Climate Caretakers, and Micah Challenge U.S.A., are organizing a group to participate in the Saturday march and then follow up with climate advocacy training on Sunday and legislative meetings on Monday. Registration details will be out sometime this week. Follow us on the new CWP Facebook page to catch the info the moment it comes out. We’ll also be keeping you updated through our regular e-newsletters.

Unable to join us in Washington D.C.? Join us by signing, praying, and speaking up during the next 100 days and beyond. Our leaders need to hear that, as evangelical Christians, we want them to take action on behalf of God's creation and on behalf of the poor and vulnerable around the world.

Advocacy Opportunity in Canada

God’s creation is precious. The Paris Agreement has now entered into force, and Canada has a new climate action plan. Unfortunately the emissions reduction target in Canada’s plan is inconsistent with the temperature goal of the Paris Agreement. Urge your Member of Parliament to press for an increase in Canada’s emissions reduction target so that we contribute our fair share to effective international climate action.
