Dear <<First Name>> <<Last Name>>,
We invite you to attend the 14th European Conference on Precision Agriculture (ECPA) to be held in Bologna, Emilia-Romagna, under the auspices of the International Society of Precision Agriculture (ISPA) and organized by the Department of Agricultural and Food Sciences (DISTAL) of the Alma Mater Studiorum-University of Bologna.
Bologna is located in the heart of the Po Valley, with centuries-old culture, history and architecture. The University of Bologna was founded more than 900 years ago and is an important Italian and European center for agricultural, food and land research, with strong ties to industry. The Department of Agricultural and Food Sciences can boast a wide range of research and teaching in digital agriculture and precision agriculture.
Precision agriculture (PA) is an increasingly important topic under the Agriculture 4.0 programme, and now many applications are reaching the prototype and market stages. So, the time is right to help unlock the potential of precision agriculture with this ECPA meeting.
The event will allow the community to present research on a wide range of topics covering all aspects of PA practices, to find out what colleagues are working on, and to create synergies and cooperation.
We will also host companies and other institutions that wish to showcase their findings in PA applications and tools.
We cordially invite you to plan to submit an abstract of your research related to precision agriculture; the abstract submission form will be available soon. Abstracts will be evaluated by the International Scientific Committee and considered for oral or poster presentation. All accepted abstracts will be compiled into a book of abstracts, with ISBN and DOI.
The book of Proceedings will be published as an edited book with ISBN and DOI, authors with an abstract accepted for oral presentation must submit the full article (6-8 pages) in advance and the article will be reviewed by the editor(s). The book and contributions will be submitted for indexing in Web of Science and Scopus.
Relevant deadlines are listed on the conference website, which will provide you with all conference-related information.
We ask you to subscribe to the newsletter to be kept up-to-date on the conference organization and to have a better indication of possible participation.
We look forward to seeing you in Bologna on July 2, 2023!
On behalf of the organising committee
