New pages
Please see below a list of the new pages that have been added to the Go-To website:
  • We’ve created a new ‘case studies’ page to share best practice and inspire others. Our first case study is on Coppice Valley Primary School in Harrogate who are passionate advocates for supporting mental health in schools. They’ve developed lots of new ways of working and have included 3 short videos on children’s wellbeing in school.
  • We’ve also created a new Loneliness page developed in partnership with The Loneliness Campaign North Yorkshire.
  • We’ve added a link to Kidscape on our worried about bullyingpage, as recommended by one of The Go-To Champions.  Kidscape helpline offers advice for parents and carers concerned about their child being bullied.
  • Finally, we have developed 3 short ‘walkthrough’ videos to help you navigate more easily through The Go-To website. Each video guides you through a different sections of the website. You can take a look at the videos here.

The Go-To Champions
Some of you may know that we have been on the lookout for young people, parent and carers and professionals to get involved as a Go-To Champion by promoting young people’s mental health in North Yorkshire. Over recent months we have met some fantastic Champions and we now have 20 wonderful Go-To Champions!  They have been getting involved by writing and reviewing website content, promoting The Go-To through social media and writing blogs. You can read the first three blogs written by our inspiring Go-To Champions Emma Allison, Beth Constantine and Bex Wainwright. If you have not been in touch, but are interested in learning more, you can find out more on the attached leaflet and also email us at
