Weekly Newsletter • April 8, 2022

Hi <<First Name>>,

Welcome to this week’s issue of the Alameda Post newsletter! We have several new contributors to welcome this week: Alana Dill covers arts and culture, Liz Barrett writes about our community, and Mouf the dog shares his stories via his human companion, Jeff Cambra.

This week’s articles include planning for Lincoln Corridor improvements, Alameda Point harbor seals, the story behind Sterling Avenue, Island Community Market, new automated license plate reader policy, and more. Also featured is the latest installment of retired firefighter Dave LeMoine’s memories of growing up in Alameda and becoming an Alameda firefighter.

If you haven’t already filled out our Alameda News survey at, we would really appreciate it if you could take five minutes to tell us what kind of coverage you want from the Alameda Post.
