Dear Friends,

Miami Mindfulness and Ransom Everglades School are proud to announce two intensive, interactive—and playful—ANIMA Learning mindfulness and improvisation workshops for educators, parents, counselors, mindfulness practitioners, and friends.

Why mindfulness and improvisation?
Woven together, the two practices transform each other. Mindfulness gains a playful, interactive expression. Improv develops a well-grounded depth. In partnership, they cultivate the kind of connected presence that helps anyone respond artfully to the challenges of any given moment.

Each workshop will offer a taste of the creative freedom that comes from combining these two traditions. Together, we’ll create a safe learning lab to introduce exercises that:

  • ease stage fright
  • sharpen self-awareness
  • improve spontaneity
  • train playful attention
  • develop resilience
  • boost self-confidence
  • decrease social anxiety
  • improve connection with ourselves and others
  • increase flexibility and adaptability in the face of uncertainty
