AMS Healthcare funds research in compassion and artificial intelligence. Our mission is to advance the Canadian healthcare system through innovation and technology while remaining rooted in compassion. We offer one-year fellowships up to $75,000 each and one-year grants up to $20,000 each.

Carolyn holds a Tier 2 Canadian Research Chair in Implementing Digital Health Innovation. Her AMS project examines whether and how digital health technologies used in primary care can enable compassionate care delivery through relationship-building between complex patients and their care teams.

Aaron is a leading researcher in the field of procedural sedation and analgesia. His AMS project enables compassionate care using tech and AI to set up real-time instruction systems to alert patients when to stop eating and drinking before a medical procedure.
