July 5th, 2022

Dear Friends,

What a joy it’s been to welcome our new bridge interim John Winings this past week and to return to a little more normalcy!

This Sunday, July 10th, we’ll hold a congregational meeting to take care of – wait for it – non-transitional, regular, normal business of the church when we receive the 2021 Annual Report and vote to seat the Officer Nominating Committee. This is the team who will recruit new elders and deacons.

Another normal function of the church is also underway. Our communications team is working hard to reach out to every household of the church to update our database and prepare to print a new church directory which will include individual’s cell phone numbers and emails. Please return any calls, texts or emails from this hard-working crew so we can expedite our database and directory upgrade.  Also, Brad, our communications director, has been making some sleek updates to our website. Take a few minutes to note the very welcome sprucing up he’s done.

To keep you checking this newsletter, I can spill the beans (or the tea, depending on your generation) and tell you that soon after July 4th the Christian Education team will announce an exciting new roll-out idea for 2022-2023!

In anticipation of all God has in store for us!
