Personalised Real-time Air quality Informatics System for Exposure – Hong Kong (PRAISE-HK) -- A 5-year project funded by the HSBC 150th Anniversary Charity Programme. Led by HKUST's Institute for the Environment, PRAISE-HK aims to develop an online platform and a mobile app to empower the public with personalised air quality information and allow them to plan their daily commute or activities to minimize health risk from air pollution.

Post-COP25 Hong Kong Forum

HKUST Institute for the Environment and the Division of Environment and Sustainability, Business Environment Council and Civic Exchange co-organized the Post-COP25 Hong Kong Forum on 17 January 2020. Gathering over a hundred of environmental and business leaders, the event reviewed the state of the UN negotiations, and discussed what business actions are needed in decarbonizing Hong Kong. Event videos and summary report are now available to download.

Prof. Zhi Ning explained how the Smart Campus Air Network (SCAN) project was developed to provide real-time air quality data, while at the same time visualizing this technology for raising awareness and identifying possible methods of improving indoor air quality.
