TiE Delhi-NCR, recently announced the appointment of Rajan Anandan, Vice President, South East Asia and India, Google as its President. Rajan takes over from Pramod Bhasin, Founder – Clix Capital after his immensely successful two-year stint as the President. In his current role, Rajan would spearhead TiE Delhi-NCR’s initiatives through the five pillars of TiE: mentoring, networking and education, funding and incubation.
Prior to Google, Rajan was the Managing Director of Microsoft India leading the Sales, Marketing and Services Group. His professional journey also includes a stint at Dell as the Vice President amongst other global leadership roles such as being a Partner at McKinsey & Company. Rajan is an active angel investor in early stage technology companies and has invested in internet, mobile and software startups PAN-India. He has invested in over 45 technology startups in India and is also the co-founder of Blue Ocean Ventures, the first seed fund in Sri Lanka.
Rajan brings a track record of investing in many sectors across technology, and brings on board firsthand experience of working closely with founding teams of startups, leading and building several large technology businesses in US and India.
