OMED is proud to welcome Markyta Holton as its Programs and Operations Manager. In the role, Markyta will be responsible for the management of Peeriscope, OMED’s newest peer-collaborative initiative to support second and third-year students, Achieve Atlanta scholars, and first-year transfer students. She brings to this role innovative ideas and years of STEM programming experience, centered around diversity and inclusion.
Markyta received her bachelor’s degree from Albany State University and her Master’s in Public Administration from Southern University and A&M College.
Diversity Champion Awards Nominations Open Through June 15
Nominations are now being accepted for Diversity Champion Awards: Accessibility Champions. Award recipients (a faculty member, staff member, student, and campus unit) will be honored at the 2020 Diversity Symposium in September. Information and the nomination form can be found here.
