We are mavericks facing the future with the goal of changing the world.
Greetings!

We have so much going on around campus.

Last week some of our 4-th-8th grade Mavericks competed in the Liberty Tech Spelling Bee. Each and every contestant did an amazing job. Congratulations to one of our 6th grade Maverick, Danya Velasquez. She is the Liberty Tech School Spelling Bee winner. She will represent Liberty Tech at at the Region 5 Spelling Bee on February 22, 2020. Cason Rowland is the alternate participant. I am so proud of our Mavericks who participated in the LT Spelling Bee.

We are gearing up for our next Exhibition Night: The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Please see below for more information.

On February 28th, we will have our Black History Program: Standing Together. If your Maverick is interested in being a part of our wax museum, please look for the form that will be sent home in the Tuesday folder on January 28th. Interested students need to complete and return the form to school.

Have a wonderful weekend! We look forward to seeing everyone next week to wrap up the month of January.

Thanks,
Melissa King
Principal

Wizard of Oz Exhibition Night

Our Mavericks have been working diligently on their projects for our Wizard of Oz Exhibition Night. Come learn some geography as well as the differences in physical and chemical changes, how tornadoes effect ecosystems, meet some Math Munchkins, and so much more. There might even be a few characters visiting Liberty Tech during the evening. Please mark your calendars and join us for this magical evening as you follow the yellow brick road to take a tour through Oz.

Please click here to see map for the traffic flow. You will enter the building on the kindergarten hallway. All children and students need to stay with their families as they take the tour.

Liberty Tech is extending its Participation Campaign through March 31.  Family participation shows a commitment to our academic initiatives and positions us to secure grants and other funding outside of our state funds.  We are asking each family to support this campaign by donating $1.00 to show their commitment to Liberty Tech and its 2019/20 initiatives. Let's create the future and build a strong 20/20 vision for our students!
