Firefighters arrived on scene and found a fire on the roof of an apartment building. The building was evacuated and crews worked to extinguish the fire. An A/C heater was the source of the fire and left minimal smoke damage to two units. Crews placed plastic to minimize water damage and requested the American Red Cross to assist the residents. Firefighters from Stations 5, 4, 49, 50, 77, 38, 57 and the Village Fire Department responded to this incident.
