House Fire in Acres Homes Area

Firefighters arrived on scene to find smoke coming from a 1-story house and began an attack on the fire. A primary search was completed and one civilian was treated for a minor injury. The fire was confined to the kitchen and originated as a cooking fire. The fire was extinguished and crews checked for extension. Firefighters from Stations 4, 31, 13, 50 and 67 responded to this incident.
