Status of COVID-19 in Pasco County:  

Today, the Florida Department of Health announced 180 statewide deaths related to COVID-19.

As of this afternoon, the total number of identified COVID-19 cases in Pasco County is 6,893. There are 122 COVID-19 related fatalities in Pasco. Currently there are 13 ICU beds available in the county, please continue wearing your masks and practicing social distancing.
**Please note that we were informed today by the Florida Department of Health that the COVID-19 Data and Surveillance Dashboard is currently unavailable. Once it is up and working again we will share updated graphs**

Please note, deaths are reported in waves and later attributed to a specific date. For example, 3 new deaths were reported on July 27, but those new deaths could have occurred any time in the past two weeks.

Here we're showing you some information we have regarding hospitals in Pasco County. Please note, in the graph below, the number of occupants at the ICU is not indicative of the number of COVID-19 patients in the ICU. Our source does not breakdown COVID-19 versus Non-COVID-19 admissions.

Data on Nursing Homes and Assisted Living Facilities in Pasco County:

The graph below reflects current totals of COVID-19 cases in Pasco nursing homes and assisted living facilities. The Department of Health tracks this data here

These graphs will appear every Friday and one on Monday to provide the most up-to-date information. 

The next update will be on Friday, August 14th, to reflect the week's totals.

The graph below shows how COVID-19 numbers are faring in three counties that comprise a bulk of the Tampa Bay region. It reflects the total increases in COVID-19 cases per week in Pasco, Pinellas and Hillsborough since June 1. The second graph reflects those same numbers when weighted for population in Pasco, Pinellas and Hillsborough.

2020 “Two Good Soles”
Shoe & Sock Drive Underway


Now more than ever, your donation can help a Pasco student in need put their best foot forward! The fifth annual Two Good Soles Shoe and Sock Drive is underway, with Pasco County Government and Constitutional Offices working together during this time of unprecedented challenges to collect footwear for kids in Pasco County Schools through October 26, 2020.

Front Line Appreciation Group 2020, or FLAG2020, is a national effort that raises money at the local level to fund delivered meals to hospital workers tasked with COVID-19 cases. We started a local chapter for this effort in April and we're happy to ramp back up again now. 

Please note that this effort relies on individual donations from those looking to help our front line health care heroes! We're raising money through our Facebook group, which you can visit here. We're also raising money online at the following sites:

PASCO COUNTY, FL  ----  Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Pasco County Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) Meeting scheduled for Thursday, August 13, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. in the Historic Pasco County Courthouse Boardroom in Dade City, will be held online and broadcast live. *The meeting will be conducted in a hybrid virtual format to reduce the risk to residents, elected officials and Pasco County employees by following federal and state social distancing and gathering guidelines.  A quorum of the MPO will be present, but the boardroom will remain closed to the public.
 
To participate in the Public Comment section of the Agenda:
 
 
 
  • Via Public Comment Kiosk: Address the Board via a “touchless” video conferencing monitor on the second floor of the East Pasco Government Center, 14236 6th St., Dade City, when directed by staff.  Social distancing rules apply.
