Frank Stella

This week's news from:
 Shanghai Lady

I lied.

I thought I could keep to my weekly blogging shedule. But jet lag, dynamic IP addresses and a surprising number of book events have stopped me cold. This Frank Stella mural, on prominent display at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, is a pretty accurate depiction of the state of my mind these past few weeks.

I'll tell you about the California book tour in my next blog post (no promises on when that will be). For now, let's go back in time, just a few weeks, to that fabulous launch of The Dancing Girl and the Turtle. You can read all about it - or rather see what it was like - in this week's blog post: Show Don't Tell

For those of you who prefer your memories in aural form, here's a link to the playlist of 1930's jazz music we played at the launch party. Nine hours of listening / dancing / humming along pleasure!

Maybe something to play while you catch up on any blog posts you might have missed? Here are the most recent ones:

Shame Is a Useless Emotion
