It's Easy to Make a Difference Door Knocking!
The most effective way to reach voters is to meet them at their door. We’re targeting two upcoming coordinated door knocking events.
Please join us:
Sunday, October 16:
Coordinated door knocking
with Lt. Gov. Susan Bysiewicz
11:30 AM
Stonington Regional Democratic Headquarters

If you've never door-knocked before, no problem!
Training and an experienced door-knocking buddy will be provided.
Cathy Ostenhas "established herself as an advocate for constituencies that include senior citizens, workers and Connecticut’s state-recognized Indian tribes."
Osten said "Eastern Connecticut needs housing for new teachers, new police officers, new engineers and those working at Electric Boat and its subcontractors as well as at the casinos and the Submarine Base.
...
Osten voted for legislation that protects from lawsuits out-of-state women who travel to Connecticut for abortions and the physicians who provide the abortions.
...
“We recognized … that we were going to have to do something in order to provide people who are here in Connecticut the absolute right to choice,” Osten said."
Did you know that “early voting” is on CT’s ballot this November?
It will allow the legislature to expand the number of days for in person voting!
On the November 8th ballot, all voters across Connecticut will see this question, which they will get to vote YES or NO for: “Shall the Constitution of the State be amended to permit the General Assembly to provide for early voting?”
● CT is one of only 4 states in the nation that does not allow for in-person early voting
● Early voting would spread out the crowds and make lines shorter on election day
● Early voting would increase turnout, particularly among demographics that lean democratic
● Early voting allows for the correction of errors
● Early voting helps mitigate the spread of COVID-1
Please vote yes and support better flexibility for voting.
