Network Drink with Customs Authorities

As you may know the goals and objectives of ACB are always in the interest of the air cargo community and for the overall benefit of our industry. It is within that context that we are in touch with governmental authorities such as the Belgian customs. On Wednesday February 8th ACB’s executive committee and customs working group invited the administrator general, Mr. Vanderwaeren, and his senior management for a meeting and workshop to discuss the future cooperation with and the operations of the customs authorities at BRUcargo. This meeting will be followed by a short network drink/meet & greet with the customs top for which all BRUcargo stakeholders are invited. All practical information of this network event can be found on our website, registration for the network drink also has to be done through the website:

Working group in the picture: Fresh

The scope of this working group is to promote Brussels as a perishable gateway and enlarge the BAC perishable footprint in the market. Together with a.o. the FASFC we are gradually working to our ultimate goal to be the reference in the development of perishables in the air cargo industry.

Slot Booking Application Project

The Slot Booking App orchestrates the planning of the trucking company and freight forwarder with the capacity and resources of the ground handler in the terminal. The App is part of a Dynamic Terminal Management Platform, which synchronizes cross-company processes in terminals meeting the challenges of non-synchronised activities. The main goal is to work in a more efficient way and to limit waiting periods during the process. Thanks to financial support of Province Vlaams-Brabant, we are able to set up this project for 18 months.
