Charter Discusses Jobs and Investment in America at the White House
We visited the White House to discuss the next steps in advancing our efforts to grow our in-house and insourced workforce as well as invest in our broadband infrastructure.

With confidence in a regulatory environment that will allow us more flexibility to innovate, we announced our intention to invest $25 billion in broadband infrastructure and technology in the next four years.   And building on our plans to hire 20,000 workers, we made specific pledges to do so in the next four years and end our reliance on all offshore call centers used by the former Time Warner Cable.

We were proud to announce the opening of a brand new state-of-the-art bilingual call center in McAllen, Texas. We’re doing more than opening a new call center there. We're investing in the South Texas economy and in jobs in America by keeping our commitment to provide better customer service delivered by employees hired and trained by Charter.

Watch the video to learn more about our state-of-the-art facility in McAllen and the role it plays in the local economy.
