A new Chapter for In3DC...
We are Moving Everything Online.
As many businesses across the country have been affected, In3DC has also been impacted by this COVID19 health crisis. As we are a space essentially serving as a co-working space for the underrepresented and underserved entrepreneurs and startups, in addition to being an events space, and as we continuously promote diversity and inclusion programming in the education and technology sectors, we had to make the hard decision to close our doors on November 15, 2020.

After 3 years of dedication in building a tech and innovation ecosystem, we are saddened to leave the physical space of In3DC on the corridor of Georgia Avenue and doorstep of Howard University, in Washington DC. Since we are committed to extending education and technology programming to the underrepresented and underserved communities, we are proud to say we have moved all our programming online.

PRESS RELEASE

CLOSURE OF INCLUSIVE INNOVATION INCUBATOR'S WASHINGTON DC LOCATION

Washington DC (October 19, 2020) -  Inclusive Innovation Incubator (In3DC) is closing its doors on November 15, 2020, after three years of serving underrepresented and underserved entrepreneurs, technology startups, and professionals seeking to upskill themselves. Although In3DC is closing its physical location on the corridor of Georgia Avenue in Washington DC, it will continue to provide its services online as it has been able to transition its educational programs online since March 2020.

Aaron Saunders, the founder, and CEO of In3DC said  “I have been dedicated to making it work due to the growing skills gap in the underrepresented communities and I will continue to serve my community by providing all our programs online…COVID19 has changed everyone’s business and we are adapting to this new normal”.

As an ecosystem builder, In3DC will continue to grow its community online. In3DC had the pleasure of working with various members of the DC community to ensure that many are not marginalized due to technology and entrepreneurship programming gaps.

With the ability to work online, In3DC has quickly customized its programs such as FutureIsWrittenInCode, Grow and Glow, and Inclusive Innovation Labs without interruption. As shared by Aaron Sanders “we are saddened to leave the physical location as we believe we had a unique offering... the physical location of In3DC and our programs are intentional regarding the challenges of our communities”.
