QUOTE OF THE WEEK

A little over a week ago the world woke up to tragic death of iconic handbag and fashion designer, Kate Spade. Who sadly lost her battle with depression and anxiety.

Today, we pay tribute to the iconic woman who’s trademark bright and colourful yet sophisticated affordable luxury handbags have graced catwalks and arms of women around the globe.

Her death and that of celebrity chef, author, storyteller and travel documentarian, Anthony Bourdain is a timely reminder that depression is real and does not discriminate.

I urge us all to be a little kinder and caring in our approach to dealing with one another. You may not know what your well put together friend, colleague, sister/brother or partner may be battling with.

We leave you with this heartfelt message from Kate Spade’s niece. A befitting tribute to the memory of the talented designer.
"Knowing Katy, this is how she would want to be remembered. She had a light that words can’t capture but touched everyone she came into contact with. She was exceedingly kind, beautifully sensitive, insanely talented, funny as heck and one of the most generous people I have ever known. She was effervescent.
Hug your loved ones extra tight today".

FIFA WORLD CUP 2018
The one true World Cup games kick-off on Friday 15 June with the host nation, Russia playing against Saudi Arabia for the opening match.

We want to wish all the African teams - Nigeria 🇳🇬, Senegal 🇸🇳, Egypt 🇪🇬, Morocco 🇲🇦 & Tunisia 🇹🇳- all the best for the games!

We are counting on you boys to bring home the cup (jokes)! At least, if all else fails, the Super Eagles are guaranteed to win fashion on the field.
