THIS SUNDAY

11:00 a.m. Online Zoom Worship Service

Worship Service
Paul Johnson, “A Many-Splendored Thing”

On Valentine's Day I'll take up, as the song phrases it,  “nature's way of giving a reason to be living.” Our word “love” is an umbrella to convey a plethora of heart feelings. The Greek of the Christian New Testament has four words and I have read that the ancient Persian has eighty words and the ancient Sanskrit ninety-six words to differentiate all of the aspects of this complex emotion.  So, I'll do my best to come up with a “many-splendored sermon,“ and I'd “love” to have you join me.    Rev. Paul

This Sunday we will be hosting our worship service and coffee hour on Zoom. Here are the details:

Topics included will be personal religious odyssey, liberal religious experience, ultimate reality, human nature, ethics, and personal credo.  It will be helpful to attend all sessions but everyone is welcome to attend as many as possible.

Why take a chance?

Much has been written about the potential toxicity of the weed-killer “Roundup,” which contains glyphosate. Why not make your own, which works pretty well.

Here is the formula:
2 cups vinegar
1 Tbsp. salt
2 Tbsp. Dawn dish detergent

Make a ½ gallon at a time, and pour into a spray bottle and use as needed.
