The Route 7/15 Norwalk Project to Begin!

Greetings!

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) has announced the start of the Route 7/15 Norwalk Project, an initiative to complete connections between Route 7 and the Merritt Parkway, reduce congestion on Main Avenue, and improve safety. Other goals and objectives, such as improving mobility and safety for bicyclists and pedestrians, will be developed after community engagement.

The planning process will begin immediately. The first phase will focus on public engagement, collection of existing conditions information, environmental documentation, analysis of design alternatives, and preliminary engineering. Subsequent phases will include final design and construction.

Visit the project website, 7-15norwalk.com, to learn more and to join our mailing list. Follow us on Facebook and Twitter to stay involved on project happenings!

We look forward to working with you on this important transportation improvement effort.

Sincerely,
Your Route 7/15 Norwalk Project Team
