Golden Moment Campaign
Each day your organization strives to deliver “golden customer moments”. The moment when an AH-HA expression washes over their face as you solve their problem, fulfill their desire, and make them a hero.
These are stories you need to capture. I know you know the hassles of recording – time, scheduling, technology. But these stories are the resource for your next powerful marketing campaign. Here are some suggestions to help you get started.
Identify your “golden moment” clients. They are the ones that can’t stop talking about you. Referring you to everyone they meet.
Next, ask them if you could record their testimony. After you have your stories, develop a social media distribution plan.
Ok, we know the why and the what, but how? Zoom is a great way to record testimonials, but you still have to be involved and there is a matching of schedules. I discovered another tool that works behind the scenes. It’s an online app called Vouch (https://vouchfor.com/). After creating a free account watch the tutorial. I began my trial by selecting the NEW button. I chose the VOUCH option allowing me to create a personalized video message. After selecting publish without sending, I copied the link and paste it into an email to my client asking them if they would record their testimonial. When the client clicks on the link it takes them to the recording page which also has a feature for them to review their recording before sending it. After they complete their recording and save it to Vouch, I receive an email notifying me to download the testimonial. After a slight technical glitch, I’ve found the program is very easy to use and the quality is very good. BTW Vouch's technical support responded and solved my challenge within a day.
John Sanchez and Steve Gatter helped me with this trial and recorded their testimonials. Click the image below to see the results. Full disclosure I did add their logos and titles to the raw videos but the quality of the picture and sound is very acceptable.
What I really like is the ease of use for both you and your customers. Their free version is adequate if you don’t mind the watermark. While you may be satisfied with the entire testimonial, consider editing it to a short nugget – you know that wow statement that nails what you did. These short blasts are great for social.
