News from Shanghai Lady

Welcome back. The Dancing Girl and the Turtle is nearing its final stages of editing. It looks more and more likely that my novel will launch in March 2017.

In anticipation of that happy event, I've been filling up this blog with tidbits a reader like you might want to know, from craft essays to the back story behind this novel to current affairs. In case you missed it, here is last week's post Origami for Authors

Stay tuned! The family ghosts will return to haunt these pages as will the weirdness of celebrating Christmas Chinese-American style.

Talk to me! Let me know what you think of this blog. Drop me a line or leave a comment on my website.

Thanks so much for reading. And for bearing with all my technical glitches with this newsletter. I'll get it right soon!

This week's post: The Dancing Girl. Learn about the real life inspiration for the heroine of The Dancing Girl and the Turtle, my Auntie May.
