Join us again in May 2020

After the biggest Get Creative Festival yet—with almost 1,700 events taking place—we have been busy working on plans to take the festival to the next level in May 2020. With your help, we've created an annual moment of national celebration for all forms of creativity.

In the new year, we'll be kicking off the major promotion of the 2020 festival. In mid-January, we'll open the call for events which can be listed on our interactive map. The earlier you list your event the more visibility you will gain, so get your thinking caps on and get your events listed!

Network and Information Meetings

Get Creative Festival 2019 highlights
We are collaborating with friends at other organisations and festivals to bring people together that are interested in supporting creativity, culture and wellbeing in May 2020 at a series of network and information meetings around England in January.

We have scheduled a series of free events with the Culture, Health & Wellbeing Alliance and the Age of Creativity to promote our shared mission of bringing culture and creativity to everyone.

Click below for booking details and come along to meet other individuals and organisations in your area who are keen to work together to celebrate creativity in May.
A network meeting was held in Cardiff on 12 December and we are working with partners to develop plans for similar gatherings in Scotland and Northern Ireland in the new year.

Summary of the 2019 festival

Summary of Get Creative Festival 2019
The 2019 Get Creative Festival was another overwhelming success with 120,000 people taking part in 1,690 events and more than 5 million people reached via social media on the #GetCreativeFestival hashtag. We've pulled together some of the highlights and crunched some numbers to show how big this celebration of creativity was and who is being reached through your events around the UK.

Take a look at the summary presentation and share it with others to show them how they could be part of this growing annual celebration of creativity. It features graphs, Louis Theroux... and you guys!
