Join us for the second part of a new virtual DH Workshop on Ethical Data Science. This workshop will cover what to do with data, including low-to-no code machine learning tools, data visualization, and how to use these tools in a way that represents data in a critical context. This workshop will be of interest to anyone passionate about gaining valuable experience with using data and implementing necessary steps that are associated with practicing data analysis.
This workshop will be taught by Brienne Hayes (SDSU 2020 alum and DH@SDSU community member). Brienne currently is the post-production supervisor at Rise Up Story Team and volunteer data visualizer for the COVID Tracking Project. They served as part of the tech team and cohort co-lead for the Winter Podcasting Institute this past January, a collaboration between the National Humanities Center, DH@SDSU and the Digital Humanities Center.
