The staff of NOROC and the people they serve embraced the month of love this February.

Ukraine Update

This is Viacheslav, one of our dear friends and partner in serving his fellow Ukrainian refugees. He picks up and delivers groceries that NOROC purchases to a refugee camp close to Tulcea. The video below is one he sent as a “thank you” to NOROC and Petru Solca, NOROC Romania’s President, after one such grocery run.

This is a script of what Vaicheslav says in the video:

“Petru, thank you very much for your help. This food will go to Izmail*, a refugee camp. People wait. Thank you. This is Kaufland**. Thank you for your help. God bless you.”

*Izmail is a small town in Ukraine only a few miles from Tulcea, Romania.

**Kaufland is a large grocery store in Tulcea.

Staff Highlight: Meet Father Adrian

Father Adrian Titorencu is an Orthodox Priest, a psychologist, a social worker, AND NOROC's Bible Study leader!!! Recently he was nominated as the 2022 Social Worker of the Year for the National Gala of Excellence in Social Work. We are so grateful he shares his gifts with NOROC and wish him the best of luck in this award process.

Meet Mr. Dan Bandacu, Irina, and Raluca (pictured from left to right). Mr. Bandacu leads a small group where children learn principles of photography. The children that participate learn a technical skill, get to access their artistic side, and spend time in nature. Below you will find some beautiful photos captured on one of their February outings. Aren’t these two young ladies talented?
