It Takes a Team

In a world where independence and self-reliance are valued and encouraged, we sometimes forget that teamwork can often produce much more powerful results. Take the case of parachute play. What can one person do with a parachute, besides jump from an airplane? Very little! But with a group of people working together as a team, an infinite number of games and activities can create an afternoon of fun. On this particular day, the goal was for two people to switch places with the person on the opposite side before the parachute deflated. With teamwork it was possible. Teaching children to work together in harmony is one of the goals of NOROC, and to accomplish that goal the NOROC team itself must work together as a team, relying on each other and God to reach a common goal. We give thanks that God is part of our team!
