NOROC...In Touch, In Tune

In the beginning, Irina and her three older sisters were sent to the baby orphanage in Babadag in Tulcea County because their parents couldn’t care for them. Lucky for them, NOROC was already on the scene with Grannies who provided the nurture, love, and support they needed to thrive in an orphanage without adequate staff. They spent their growing up years in one orphanage, then another, but they didn’t give up. Irina just graduated from Ovidiu University in Constanta, Romania with a degree in Pedagogy and a specialization to work with children who have special needs. Her passion for this area comes because she herself has a visual impairment. With help from her sisters and NOROC she put herself through college. NOROC was there at the beginning and at the end. Bravo Irina! You did it! You have shown that with God all things are possible.
