Learn how to roll and soon you will fly!
As you progress in skills and comfort over time, the more roller skating will feel like floating through air. But the absolute one and most important condition to grasp that feeling, is that you have to dedicate yourself to diligent training for a certain period of time. Only then and then only, will flying become a serious option.
No need to rush yourself through the pace of your own learningrhythm, speed and style. We all have different ways and tempos of learning and processing, in order to get to a next plateau.
A good trainer accepts and respects the state of a trainee at all times, even when the trainee is still going through a phase of acceptance and (often times) frustration, about his or her own learning path.
And doing so, the trainee is guided safe and thoughtful through the different stages necessary to adapt, grow and flow.
Or in other words, to paraphrase Nietschze: He or she who would learn to fly one day, must first learn to stand and walk and run and climb and dance and roll; one cannot fly into flying.
