Roller skating as the barometer of your (well-) being!

Can you believe it already? October it is!
Time sure flies when you're rolling high. Autumn is kicking in gently and that means we need to adapt to the changings of seasons. But that's ok, because we're fully equipped to do just that.

And if you need a real quick and honest status update on your body, mind and soul, it may come to you as no surprise, that we would suggest to lace up some roller skates!
Roller skating on any level - regardless experience - always gives you immediate straight forward information on where you're at and how you have been treating yourself lately or in life in general.

Your physical stamina, brain-body coordination and coherence, eating habits, sleeping hours, (old or upcoming) injuries, hormonal challenges, mood controls; going for a roll on a regular basis, keeps you in check.
It's an excellent indicator, to let you know how to keep that roll smooth and fun and how to maintain or improve it.
This is one of the main reasons, why we call our vision, perception and action, Soulful Fitness. The body resonates the soul and (rhythm) roller skating is our choice to reach the soul. When you roll good, you'll feel good!

Latin Cross Wiggle

The Latin Cross Wiggle displayed in two different tempos.
First the broken down variation, where a small group has chosen to break both sides down into two counts. Following the structure in this slow-mode has the advantage of really being able to focus on panning out the leg in the hip joint.

The second part is in full flow mode, with -of course- lifting up the leg while panning out, as an extra challenge, without changing the structure of movement.

The illustrious crew of the Es Quint Foundation will be hosting the RollaGanza experience at the fantastic spacious city hall of The Hague.
When you are a regular Es Quint contributor, makes sure to register your attendance via

New locations and new features included in upcoming October Roller Skate Training Weekend Seminar in the Hague, The Netherlands!

We welcome you all to experience a deep immersion, into this beautiful art & lifestyle of Rhythm Roller Skating as presented by the Es Quint Foundation.
In this edition we will travel through time, reminiscing on quintessential moments in roller skating history, respecting the entire musical spectrum that goes along with it.

Music in any way, shape or form (a beat, groove, flow, tone, melody, or entire piece), is the most powerful anchor tool to the human brain.

The most important groove & rhythm section in the world?
That would be the beating of your own heart in relation to the different frequencies of your own brain.

Rhythm Roller Skating has a unique way - unlike any other discipline - of bringing the heart and the brain in coherence. Therefore, Rhythm Roller Skating is the Quintessence of Groove.

And eventually, through diligent practice, you will experience a state of absolute free flow motion.
* In this edition, the Saturday Night special will transpire in an unusually cool setting, in the center of The Hague, in walking distance from the training center.

* Sunday Cinema at 10.30h in The Hague couldn't be more perfect after the Jam party, with the screening of the 2017 documentary Roller Dreams. A journey through time, music and history.

Sooo let's go, get off your ass and JAM!
