UK. ANRA is pleased to announce the opening of its office in the United Kingdom. The office is North of London with our first employee residing in the Cranfield area. The opening of our new office is a continuation of our efforts that started with our active engagement with the Open Access UTM project which kicked off in 2018 in the UK. We are committed to supporting the development and furthering of Drone industry in the region and the new office also allows ANRA to gain a foothold for the European market that is pursuing aviation and traffic management solutions. ATCA. The Air Traffic Controllers Association held its annual event in Washington DC in October to take an in-depth look at the future of air traffic management. The conference included three days of presentations, seminars, networking opportunities, and exhibition that attracted thousands of internationally recognized experts in every sector of aviation industry – one of which was ANRA’s CEO Amit Ganjoo. Amit was a panelist along with representatives from the FAA, Wing and RelmaTech. The panel spoke about the FAA’s UAS Pilot Program (UPP), discussed UAS Traffic Management (UTM) capabilities to handle the increase of small drone operations including Remote Identification.
ASTM Standards Development. ASTM International is one of the world's largest international standards developing organizations with over 12,000 standards operating globally. ASTM F38 is the committee for UAS, and ANRA was recently selected to co-chair one of its subcommittee’s focused on UTM standards. ANRA’s CEO, Amit Ganjoo will fill this role in guiding standards development for “WK63418 - Service provided under UAS Traffic Management (UTM).” This committee works on gaining industry consensus standards for UTM related issues, ranging from remote ID to data protocols. We salute you standards people!
