Pandemic? Let’s keep the propellers turning!
Dear <<First Name>>
SmartSkies™ Drone Airspace Authorization Platform: In response to the evolving global regulatory framework and a growing demand for intelligent, safe and secure airspace management capabilities for autonomous systems, this week we announced the release of SmartSkies™ CTR. A scalable and highly adaptable family of software services that enables coordination, SmartSkies™ provides execution and management of drone operations in controlled and uncontrolled airspace. SmartSkies™ CTR specifically addresses airspace management for Airport Control Zones and other sensitive airspace.
Corona or No Corona – Let’s keep the propellers turning: Coronavirus has taken a toll on our Industry and almost every other facet of our life. All conferences and events in US and internationally are either canceled or postponed. However, like most of our other Industry partners and collaborators, we have adapted to the new way of working and going completely virtual for the whole organization. ANRA’s CEO/Founder, Amit Ganjoo, interviewed with Mike Brown from Inverse and had a candid conversation about the true state to the Industry during the pandemic. As the world grapples with the coronavirus, it seems a perfect opportunity to let these flying machines soar – so why aren’t they filling the sky? Check out Amit’s interview here:

NASA AAM National Campaign: We are happy to announce that ANRA was selected as a partner and airspace manager for the NASA Advanced Air Mobility National Campaign! ANRA is taking part in developmental Airspace Simulation as an industry partner to test our Urban Air Mobility (UAM) traffic management capabilities in a robust NASA-designed airspace simulation to demonstrate key integrated operational UAM scenarios. We are thrilled to be involved in helping accelerate the realization of emerging aviation markets for passenger and cargo transportation in urban, suburban, rural, and regional environments.
GUTMA MWC Connected Skies Gone Virtual: In line with the virtual theme, GUTMA cancelled its MWC Connected Skies event in Barcelona and provided an online presentation on April 1st. Amit joined other industry experts from Boeing and KDDI, speaking about Advanced Connectivity for Drone Operations. The discussion touched on a wide range of use cases, where both #4G and #5G are examined as critical enablers of this burgeoning market. Amit specifically focused on the relevance of cellular V2X for UTM and drone operations in general.
