Drones in an Urban Setting!
Dear <<First Name>>
Earlier this month the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) awarded the final phase of its four-year series of increasingly complicated technical demonstrations involving small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), commonly known as drones. The Nevada Institute for Autonomous Systems in Las Vegas and the Lone Star UAS Center of Excellence & Innovation in Corpus Christi, Texas, will host demonstrations to confirm NASA’s UAS Traffic Management (UTM) system can safely and effectively manage drone traffic in an urban area. The drone flights will take place in and around downtown Reno, Nevada between March and June, and Corpus Christi during July and August.
ANRA Technologies is proud to have been selected for both these efforts and our DroneUSS™ UTM platform will be a key part of the efforts at both these locations. With these demonstrations, NASA and its partners including the Federal Aviation Administration and industry leaders like ANRA aim to help the commercial drone industry understand the challenges posed by flying in an urban environment. Results of the flight demonstrations also will help inform future rules, policies and traffic management procedures for operating drones safely over populated areas.
On a slightly different note, we invite you to Join ANRA Technologies at the “World ATM Congress” in Madrid, Spain 12 – 14 March, 2019. Hear our CEO, Amit Ganjoo talk about “Evolving Traffic Management for Manned and Unmanned” at the event as part of the FIMS-USP panel session on Thursday, 14 March, 2019 between 10:00 – 10:50 am.
Schedule some time to see a platform demo or to meet with the team members of our Management team who will be on site. Learn more about the ANRA DroneUSS™ UTM platform, the leading solution for UAS Traffic Management (UTM) and experience the “ANRA Difference”.
Finally, ANRA Team is growing and we are currently looking for dynamic and creative thinkers to add to our team. We have multiple openings and are looking for folks who want to work in a fun and fast paced environment with the focus on UAS Traffic Management (UTM) and Urban Air Mobility (UAM).
As always please reach out to us with your questions, thoughts, comments and feedback and one of our team members will be glad to engage with you.
