ANRA wins FAA Project for Ground Based Sense and Avoid
ANRA is pleased to be the UAS Traffic Management provider for an FAA project at VA Tech to conduct research related to drone traffic management, integrating the Skylar radar from Raytheon Intelligence & Space. ANRA will partner with RI&S and other program participants, including Virginia Tech, SkyGrid and Tomorrow.io, to test technologies that will support scalable, safe and compliant BVLOS drone operations at low altitudes. For this project, ANRA FUSION will consume data feeds from the Skyler AESA and data transmitted from cooperative aircraft flying within the USS network to develop a well-defined and known airspace environment. Swiggy Drone Delivery
ANRA was recently selected by Swiggy, India’s largest online food delivery service, to evaluate the feasibility of drones for middle mile use cases for the company’s Instamart grocery delivery service. Drones will be deployed to replenish stocks between seller-run dark stores and from a store to a common customer point. A delivery partner will then pick up orders from the common point and deliver them to the customer’s doorstep. The pilot program will start in Bengaluru and Delhi-NCR (National Capital Region), with expansion planned for the wider region. Read more in this Economic Times article.
 
SHEPHERD 
ANRA is pleased to be a partner on project SHEPHERD, a two year project funded by EASA - European Union Aviation Safety Agency public contract “Horizon Europe Project: UAS standard.” The main objective of SHEPHERD is to build upon the work performed by the AW-Drones Project and complement the analysis previously performed to technically assess the suitability of the standards listed by AW-Drones.
