University Enrollment Up for Fall Semester

During a time when many universities across the nation are experiencing declining enrollment, the University of Montevallo saw an overall increase in its number of students for the fall.

“The fact that enrollment has increased as we begin the year is a testament to Montevallo’s deep commitment to student success and to the personal attention our faculty and staff impart to the students we serve,” said Dr. John W. Stewart III, UM president. “We are immensely proud of our wonderful students and happy to grow the UM family, especially at such an unusual time in our nation’s history.” Read more.

Alumni Coffee Break

Since we haven’t been able to hold our standard summer events, we wanted the opportunity to stay connected virtually. So, take a coffee break with us! Join the video conference on the fourth Friday of the month, as a representative from a UM office will give a few updates and we will talk.

Next up, Dr. Jennifer Rickel and Dr. Meredith Tetloff will discuss the new Peace & Justice Studies program on Friday, Sept. 25, at 11 a.m. Learn more and register.
