Magnet Middle School Tours Coming Soon

Parents - Don't forget that e-Choices will be opening October 1 and closing November 13.  Middle school (virtual) tours will be occurring.  Fifth grade parents, you're on the clock.  Fourth grade parents - if you haven't begun touring, I highly suggest you participate this year.  Second and Third grade parents - it's not too early to get acquainted with the options.  I believe there will also be a remote "Meet the Magnets" (pre-COVID, this was held at Sepulveda MS).  

Two middle schools have sent us flyers:  Van Nuys Middle School and the Science Academy.  Frost MS has announced their tour dates as well.

DonorsChoose - Great Results!

Thank you to all the parents who contributed to Mrs Wong's and Mrs. Goodwin's DonorsChoose campaigns.  They are both fully funded, and students will benefit for years to come.

We have two new campaigns - and there is an added bonus!  This Wednesday (9/16) between 4 AM and midnight, DonorsChoose will have a 50% match!  That's equivalent to a 1/3 off sale!  Both Mrs Baba and Mrs Harmon have campaigns to replace their laptops whose (figurative) wheels are falling off.  Cameras are failing, hard drives are dying, CPUs are struggling to process video, etc.  Let's help pay it forward!

Kim Steury still has a few spots open for her remote after school programs in Magic, Screenwriting and Improv.  Classes start September 21.
