Preparing for the Musical

Hello parents!  While it's still early, we are preparing for the 2021 Magnet Musical.  Almost certainly it will *not* be in person.  We are putting together a plan to make videos for each class - ideally two songs per class... But this will require volunteers to help edit (i.e. using Adobe Premier, Apple Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve).  At the moment, we have a few parent and high school volunteers, but we could use another couple.  If this is of interest to you, please e-mail trtsao@gmail.com

Preparing for the Next Year (KAMPA Board)

The academic year will be over sooner than we realize!  The current board has served for a while, and some have children who will be culminating.  If you are interested in joining next academic year, please drop me a line at trtsao@gmail.com

Free After School Classes

Student Corps LA is offering a free after school (6 week) program for elementary studentes.  Classes are taught by North Hollywood Highly Gifted Magnet and Taft HS students (i.e. super smart and motivated students).  Classes include Coding, Fun Math, Speech/Debate, Chess, Music Theory, Games and Math Tutoring.  Click HERE to sign up and more information.  Thank you to magnet parent Tammy for bringing this wonderful opportunity to our attention.
