Elevator out of service!

The motor on the library elevator has seized and cannot be repaired. We are actively working to find a replacement but do not yet know when this will be available. Please let us know if this affects you and we will do our best to provide you with assistance. We apologize and thank you for your patience and understanding.

New West City Reads offers the chance for residents to read a book and then join us to discuss it. Read a title that interests you or skip it!  Thursday, October 10 we discuss French Exit by Patrick deWitt. Tuesday, October 22 we discuss Esther the Wonder  Pig by Steve Jenkins and Derek Walter

Family Storytime

Parents! Grab your kids and head to Family Storytime, back this Fall every Tuesday evening, 7 PM at the Main Branch. 

Circle Time with Spirit of the Children

Join us at 2 PM on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month as we welcome Spirit of the Children who provide a 1/2 hour storytime through the eyes of First Nations culture and traditions.

SPARK: Ignite Your Business! 

In partnership with the New Westminster Chamber of Commerce, SPARK is a learning series for small businesses and entrepreneurs. This month's Spark session will focus on LinkedIn for personal and business use.

Senior's Festival at Century House

Saturday, October 19, 10:30 AM we'll be joining other community partners at Century House for the Annual Senior's Festival. Stop by our table, find out about library programs, get reading suggestions and enjoy a range of performers including a keynote address by artist Robert Bateman!  

Thanksgiving Library Closure

The library will be closed Sunday, October 13 and Monday, October 14.  We are always open 24/7 online at NWPL.CA.
