DeMolay is partnering up with the prestigious Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. It's an organization that shares the values and goals of DeMolay International. We're creating opportunities for our young men in a college or university environment. They are creating opportunities for mentorship and service for their members.
Jeffrey A. Stuerman is the "Grand Alpha" (Chairman) of Lambda Chi Alpha who will share the Five Pillars (core values) of Lambda Chi which are Equal Membership, Timeless Leadership, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Total Health, and Strength Through Service.
Who is Jeff Stuerman? Mr. Stuerman began serving the financial services industry in 1984, specializing in complex asset management and fiduciary services where he leveraged technology and behavioral finance to help organizations better serve clients and their families. He recently retired as Chairman, President and CEO of Edward Jones Trust Company so that he could concentrate on regional economic development and educational efforts that prepare individuals for success in both their chosen fields and in their communities.
Mr. Stuerman earned a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis on finance from the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. He received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Business at Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Missouri. His work in fiduciary services began at A.G. Edwards Trust Company where he was responsible for marketing and new business development. He then served as President and CEO of the TIAA-CREF Trust Company before joining Edward Jones as a General Partner.
Over his career, Mr. Stuerman has focused on improving the client experience through collaboration, creating efficient business processes, and developing teams with deep subject matter expertise.
Following his career in the financial service industry, Mr. Stuerman volunteered as the State of Missouri's Transition Budget Director where he was responsible for preparing the governor's $27.6 billion proposed balanced budget.
In 2018, Mr. Stuerman was elected chair of Lambda Chi Alpha's board of directors. This 200,000 plus member organization is responsible for developing the next generation of servant leaders through innovative co-curricular partnerships.
In recognition of his achievements and commitment to volunteerism, Mr. Stuerman has been inducted into the Parkway School District Hall of Fame. In addition, he has been named a Distinguished Alumni of Culver-Stockton College where he serves as a Trustee Emeriti.
