For the month of October we will be collecting shoeboxes to send to children overseas. You can pick up an empty shoebox in our church lobby and pack it up with fun toys, hygiene items, school supplies, and a "wow" toy. Bring it back to the church lobby by October 23.
Check out this video to learn how gifts given through Operation Christmas Child extend God's loving invitation to children around the world.

Sunday school

9:30 am
for Newborn - Grade 5

Kids should be coming home with an activity sheet that you can use at home to interact with your child. It contains the main point of their Sunday school lesson, and a big picture question that you can ask them.

Junior Church

10:45 am
for Newborn - Grade 5

Lessons in October will explore the question, What is repentance? Kids will learn that Repentance is turning away from sin and turning to Jesus. As God’s people continued to rebel against him, he continued to pursue them. God sent warnings to the people through a series of prophets who pleaded with them to turn from idolatry and turn back to God. God was ready to accept their repentance. But should they continue in their sin, God was ready to judge their rebellion.

Creative God Colorful Us

by Trillia Newbell

God could have made us all the same, but he didn’t. And our differences are good!

This book discusses creation, the downfall, and the great rescue of Jesus in a fresh way that uniquely communicates the joy of colorful diversity. Each chapter has a big idea statement and engaging discussion questions. Trillia’s passion is that if God’s colorful creation will be together in heaven, we can learn to love one another today on earth.

Ideal for ages 8-13 to read themselves, but it can be a read-to-me book for younger kids.
