Dear Friends,

As the year comes to a close, we wanted to share the latest updates and events coming to Colony Park. We would also like to wish you and your families a Happy Holiday!

RFQ UPDATE

On October 23, the City of Austin, through its Economic Development Department, issued a Request for Qualifications (RFQs) for a master development partner. This issuance provides qualified respondents an opportunity to demonstrate their experience in developing a new vibrant, sustainable, and mix-use neighborhood on 208 acres of publically-owned land in Colony Park. The City held a pre-offer conference and site visit on November 16 and the submittal deadline for interested master developers is December 21, 2017. For more information, visit the Colony Park Sustainable Community RFQ website

HOLIDAY DINNER

On December 2, the Colony Park/Lakeside Neighborhood Association hosted their annual Holiday Dinner at the Turner-Roberts Recreation Center. With over 200 guests, the event featured youth and adult performances, a delicious meal with all the fixing, and free gifts for all children in attendance. Fun was had by all and Santa even made a special appearance!
